Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello at Harrisburg Board Game Day! I had a great time and met so many new people. I plan to write up my experience in a future post, including what I’d change about my table setup.
This week, I want to share two recent interviews I did. It’s not often I do things like this, so you’ll want to check them out.
The Game Thread podcast interview
Produced by Harrisburg University, The Game Thread is a game design podcast hosted by Greg Loring-Albright (Ahoy, Keep the Faith). In Episode 6, Greg interviewed me about teaching free game design classes at public libraries.1 We covered some of the challenges and how I make the class work for all experience levels.
Pit Trap Zine interview
Each quarter, Johan Nohr (MÖRK BORG) makes a little zine to include with orders from his Pit Trap Shop. In the most recent one, Pit Trap Zine #3, he interviewed me about MÖRKTOBER and Exclusion Zone Botanist: Epsilon. The zine has a ton of other cool stuff in it and it’s free to download.

This was actually my first ever “podcast interview” and I think it went really well. We recorded it in a very official-looking audio studio at Harrisburg University. Thank you so much to Anthony Ortega for doing all the mixing, editing, and technical bits.
