You know, I used to giggle about his "solitary life in the woods" involved visitors and reading the daily paper. But after (re)reading more of Walden while finding quotes and such for this, I have a new appreciation for the work.
But also, dude loved his bean field. I forgot that half the book is about beans. So much bean talk.
Reading about how EZB and Eleventh Beast started as entries for One Page RPG Jams has inspired me to turn a game I've been noodling over into a one pager. Iteration with an audience does make sense, and look how well it turned out for your games! Now, if only I can escape the time vortex I seem to have fallen into...
Interestingly, I didn't plan on those being larger zines when I made them. But after they were released and I saw how people were using/playing them, I had so many ideas for what they could have been. So I ended up adding more art and giving myself some more space to work with A5 pages.
