Indie & Local Tabletop Games Fair 2025
Rain or shine at People's Book in Takoma Park, MD this weekend (10/18). Featuring Angela Bell, Dave Chalker, and Andy Looney of Looney Labs (Fluxx). And Exeunt Press too!
Last year, I had the good fortune to be part of the first Indie & Local Tabletop Games Fair at People’s Book in Takoma Park, MD.1 It was a great event and packed with visitors. So I jumped at the chance to be part of this year’s event!
This year’s indie game fair
This year’s Indie & Local Tabletop Games Fair will once again be hosted by People’s Book on Saturday, October 18th from 12 pm - 5 pm.
There is a panel discussion about “Small Games, Big Fun” from 4 - 5 pm:
Angela Bell is the designer and self-publisher of the card / trivia game, “How Much Do You Really Know,” about the FBI and law enforcement.
Dave Chalker is a game designer encompassing both board and role-playing games, and the vice president of the Unpub nonprofit that helps game designers get their unpublished games tested.
Andy Looney is the chief game designer of Looney Labs, which publishes the “Fluxx” series of card games, the “Loonacy” series, the “Pyramid Games” series, and many others.
The indie game market will be open the entire time, and I’ll be at the Exeunt Press table. Copies of EP solo games, SCM guides, and a special CY_BORG + Blackflower bundle will be available.2
Tickets are free, but you should RSVP online!
I hope to see you there!
