Congratulations on the upward trajectory. Hiring someone to do layout or typography could be a smart move, so long as they don’t fall into the trap of being flashy to make you perceive added value. ;)
Thank you! Yeah, I still have very strong opinions on all parts of the project. That's why it will be a slow and careful process to find someone who thinks the same way I do.
I'm still doing all the game design and writing. The only parts I would get help on is the editing (as I've done with We Are Mushrooms and the upcoming The Walden Paradox zine) and layout. Everything else is me. :)
But yeah, I think this is a large enough project that it makes sense.

What was it Miles Davis said? Something like “If you understood everything I said, you would be me.” He still managed to hire some pretty good bands.
Results trump common thought processes. Now, I must get back to that client who picked the “wrong” design.
Does this mean it's also financially viable to contract some parts of the design?
