What does the pre-order include?
This edition of Caveat Emptor is an A5 (5.8” x 8.3”) zine with improved layout and art. It expands the rules and content of the one-page edition.
Approximately 36 pages including:
Expanded rules, including Vexation Points (VP)
New victory conditions
Additional customer backgrounds
2x the powerful items (26 total)
Random item generator (3d12)
Expanded rules explanation and examples
Just a pencil, paper, and standard deck is playing cards is required to play.
Pre-orders will also receive a printed Caveat Emptor Curse Tracker (A5). Easily track which curses you are using. Don’t use the same type too often!
Fulfillment
The fulfillment process will be similar to how Blackflower was handled:
The writing, layout, and full game are already complete.
Test prints are expected to arrive in one to two weeks.
After the test prints are approved, a full order will be submitted.
The print order usually takes 2 - 3 weeks to arrive.
After the final prints have been received, all pre-orders will be shipped. The shipment will include any additional items that were added when you placed your order.
